Terms Used In Texas Local Government Code Chapter 105 > Subchapter C - Security for Funds Held by Depository
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Municipality: means a general-law municipality, home-rule municipality, or special-law municipality. See Texas Local Government Code 1.005
- Presiding officer: A majority-party Senator who presides over the Senate and is charged with maintaining order and decorum, recognizing Members to speak, and interpreting the Senate's rules, practices and precedents.
