53B-33-203. Director — Additional staff — Administrative support.

(1)	The commissioner shall appoint a director to manage the day-to-day operations of the center.

Center: means the Utah Data Research Center created in Section 53B-33-201. See Utah Code 53B-33-101
Commissioner: means the commissioner of higher education appointed in accordance with Section 53B-1-408. See Utah Code 53B-1-101.5
Director: means the director of the Utah Data Research Center created in Section 53B-33-201. See Utah Code 53B-33-101

The director may, with the commissioner’s approval, hire staff, including:

(a)	data scientists;

(b)	data technology experts; and

(c)	data security experts.
