The cost and expense of the construction, reconstruction, improvement or maintenance of all state roads shall be paid out of any moneys received by or appropriated to the state road commission for that purpose.
Terms Used In West Virginia Code 17-3-2
- State: when applied to a part of the United States and not restricted by the context, includes the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" also include the said district and territories. See West Virginia Code 2-2-10
- state road commission: when used in this chapter, shall refer to and mean the West Virginia commissioner of highways, created by section one, article two-a of this chapter. See West Virginia Code 17-1-2
