Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 65-1523

  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.

The board in its discretion, in addition to any other remedies provided in this act, may apply to a court of competent jurisdiction for injunctive relief to restrain violations of the provisions of this act, lawful rules and regulations promulgated by the board under authority of this act.
