Terms Used In Indiana Code 36-7-4-916.5

  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
  • Property: includes personal and real property. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
(2) applications for variances, special exceptions, special uses, contingent uses, and conditional uses;
