Attorney's Note
Under the Alabama Code, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:| Class | Prison | Fine |

| Class A misdemeanor | up to 1 year | up to $6,000 |
| Violation | up to 30 days | up to $200 |
Unless otherwise provided herein, violation of any part of this chapter shall be a Class A misdemeanor which may be prosecuted and shall be punishable as such under the laws of Alabama.
