Terms Used In Alaska Statutes 47.25.041

  • Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.

The department shall develop a sliding fee scale based on the factors listed in Alaska Stat. § 47.25.031 for purposes of determining the amount to be contributed by the parent or guardian for child care. The contribution of the parent or guardian shall be paid to the day care facility.
