  • Board: means the Respiratory Care Board of California. See California Business and Professions Code 3704
  • Disciplinary action: includes any action whereby an employee is deprived of any classification or any incident of any classification in which he or she has permanence, including dismissal, suspension, demotion, or any reassignment, without his or her voluntary consent, except a layoff for lack of work or lack of funds. See California Education Code 88001
  • Foreclosure: A legal process in which property that is collateral or security for a loan may be sold to help repay the loan when the loan is in default. Source: OCC
  • instructional aide: means a person employed to assist classroom instructors and other faculty in the performance of their duties and in the supervision of students and in instructional tasks which, in the judgment of the faculty to whom the instructional aide is assigned, may be performed by a person not qualified as a classroom instructor.
