This article may be cited as the Instructional Aide Act of 1968. The provisions of this article shall apply to personnel referred to in Section 72401 or any other section enacted before or after November 13, 1968, who perform the duties of instructional aides.

Terms Used In California Education Code 88240

  • instructional aide: means a person employed to assist classroom instructors and other faculty in the performance of their duties and in the supervision of students and in instructional tasks which, in the judgment of the faculty to whom the instructional aide is assigned, may be performed by a person not qualified as a classroom instructor.
