It shall be the duty of the sheriffs and marshals in the several counties, upon request of the commission or its authorized representative, to serve process and execute all lawful orders of the commission.

  • commission: means the Commission on Judicial Performance provided for in Section 8 of Article VI of the Constitution, "masters" means special masters appointed by the Supreme Court pursuant to rules adopted by the Judicial Council, and "judge" means a judge who is the subject of an investigation or proceeding under Section 18 of Article VI of the Constitution.
