The parties to any appeal of the determination of the county facilities payment, for purposes of the mailing of documents, are the county administrative officer, on behalf of the county, and the Administrative Director of the Courts, on behalf of both the state and the court.

  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
  • County: includes city and county. See California Government Code 19
  • County facilities payment: means the amount established by Article 5 of this chapter to be paid by a county in partial exchange for relief from the responsibility for providing court facilities. See California Government Code 70301
  • State: means the State of California, unless applied to the different parts of the United States. See California Government Code 18
