All claims for money or damages against a district are governed by Part 3 (commencing with Section 900) and Part 4 (commencing with Section 940) of Division 3.6 of Title 1 of the Government Code.

Terms Used In California Health and Safety Code 2075

  • Damages: Money paid by defendants to successful plaintiffs in civil cases to compensate the plaintiffs for their injuries.
  • District: means any mosquito abatement and vector control district created pursuant to this chapter or any of its statutory predecessors. See California Health and Safety Code 2002
