Unless the context otherwise requires, as used in this division:
(a) “State agency” means any agency, department, division, commission, board, bureau, officer, or other authority of the State of California.
Terms Used In California Labor Code 6101
- Agency: means the Labor and Workforce Development Agency. See California Labor Code 18.5
- Appeals board: means the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board. See California Labor Code 6101
- Department: means Department of Industrial Relations. See California Labor Code 19
- Fund: means State Compensation Insurance Fund. See California Labor Code 6101
(b) “Fund” means State Compensation Insurance Fund.
(c) “Appeals board” means the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board.
