Except as expressly so provided, this article does not expand or in any manner alter the commission‘s jurisdiction over the regulation of emissions of greenhouse gases.

  • Commission: means the Public Utilities Commission created by §. See California Public Utilities Code 20
  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
