Any contract hospital that provides the services required by a Medi-Cal beneficiary and has a physician with staff privileges who is willing to accept the Medi-Cal beneficiary and has the appropriate bed, personnel, and equipment necessary to treat the Medi-Cal beneficiary shall accept the transfer of the Medi-Cal beneficiary from a noncontract hospital.
