Within 60 calendar days of the date that the annual Budget Act is chaptered, the department shall notify the chairpersons of the fiscal committees of each house of the Legislature, the Chairperson and the Vice Chairperson of the Joint Legislative Budget Committee, and appropriate county representatives if the department plans to withhold and not allocate any of the baseline allocation for county Medi-Cal eligibility activities that are appropriated for Medi-Cal administration.
