  • Assistive technology: means any item, piece of equipment, or product system, whether acquired commercially, modified, or customized, that is used to increase, maintain, or improve functional capabilities of individuals with disabilities, and any service that directly assists an individual with a disability in the selection, acquisition, or use of the item, equipment, or product system.   • City: includes "city and county" and "incorporated town. See California Streets and Highways Code 15

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
