The purpose of this chapter is to establish an integrated wireline and wireless 911-Enhanced Emergency Number Service throughout this State in order to improve and/or enhance emergency communication procedures.

Terms Used In Delaware Code Title 16 Sec. 10001
- State: means the State of Delaware; and when applied to different parts of the United States, it includes the District of Columbia and the several territories and possessions of the United States. See Delaware Code Title 1 Sec. 302
- Wireline: means telecommunications service provided in part over fixed physical access facilities, such as wires and cables, between residences or businesses and a telephone company switching office. See Delaware Code Title 16 Sec. 10002
