Under the Guam Code, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:| Class | Prison | Fine |

| felony of the third degree | up to 5 years | up to $5,000 |
A person receiving assistance under § 2702 of this Subchapter who willfully fails to report to the Department a change in his status which affects his eligibility or the amount of payment for which he is eligible, within ten (10) days of that change, is guilty of a felony of the third degree.
