Terms Used In Indiana Code 27-19-1-5
- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Year: means a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
Sec. 5. For the purposes of this article, an individual who continues to pay premiums for a policy or contract offered by a qualified health plan issuer in a benefit year that follows the benefit year in which the individual purchased the original policy or contract is considered to have purchased a new policy or contract for the purposes of 45 C.F.R. § 147.106(h)(2).
