Terms Used In Indiana Code 32-21-1-2

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • in writing: include printing, lithographing, or other mode of representing words and letters. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
   Sec. 2. The consideration that is the basis of a promise, contract, or agreement described in section 1 of this chapter does not need to be in writing but may be proved.
