Terms Used In Indiana Code 36-7-15.5-12

  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
   Sec. 12. Any party aggrieved by a resolution adopted under this chapter may appeal. This appeal must be taken as provided in IC 34-13-6.
