- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- local health department: refers to a local health department established under IC 16-20 or the health and hospital corporation created under IC 16-22-8. See Indiana Code 8-2.1-27-4
