  • Attorney: includes a counselor or other person authorized to appear and represent a party in an action or special proceeding. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
  • commission: refers to the Indiana utility regulatory commission. See Indiana Code 8-1-1-1
  • Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
  • customer: means a person to whom telecommunications services are provided. See Indiana Code 8-1-29-1
  • letter of agency: means a written statement that a customer signs that authorizes a change to that customer's primary interexchange carrier or primary local exchange carrier. See Indiana Code 8-1-29-1.3
  • preferred carrier change order: means a request to change a customer's telecommunications provider. See Indiana Code 8-1-29-1.5
