Terms Used In Iowa Code 261B.11B

  • School: means an agency of the state or political subdivision of the state, individual, partnership, company, firm, society, trust, association, corporation, or any combination which meets any of the following criteria:
     a. See Iowa Code 261B.2
 A school or other postsecondary educational institution that is exempt under section 261B.11 may voluntarily register underthis chapter in order to comply with chapter 261G or for purposes of institutional eligibility under 34 C.F.R. §600.9(a).
