 Initial financing statement form.

 A filing office that accepts written records may not refuse to accept a written initial financing statement in a form and format approved by the secretary of state by rule adopted pursuant to chapter 17A except for a reason set forth in section 554.9516, subsection 2. The forms shall be consistent with those set forth in the final official text of the 1999 revisions to Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code promulgated by the American law institute and the national conference of commissioners on uniform state laws.

  • Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.
  • Rule: includes "regulation". See Iowa Code 4.1
