Terms Used In Iowa Code 562.1A
- Livestock: includes but is not limited to an animal classified as an ostrich, rhea, or emu. See Iowa Code 4.1
- person: means individual, corporation, limited liability company, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership or association, or any other legal entity. See Iowa Code 4.1
562.1A Definitions.
As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires:
1. “”Animal feeding operation”” means the same as defined in § 459.102.
2. “”Farm tenancy”” means a leasehold interest in land held by a person who produces crops or provides for the care and feeding of livestock on the land, including by grazing or supplying feed to the livestock.
3. “”Livestock”” means the same as defined in § 717.1.
