589.9 Marginal releases of school-fund mortgages.
The release or satisfaction of a school-fund mortgage entered on the margin of the record of
the mortgage by the auditor of the county more than ten years earlier, is legalized as though the auditor had, at the time of entering the release or satisfaction, the same power thereafter conferred upon the auditor by 1894 Iowa Acts, ch 53.
