Terms Used In Iowa Code 607A.41
- Electronic data processing system: means an electronic jury management system as designated by the state court administrator. See Iowa Code 607A.3
- Jury pool: means the sum total of prospective jurors reporting for service. See Iowa Code 607A.3
- Panel: means those jurors drawn or assigned for service to a courtroom, judge, or trial. See Iowa Code 607A.3
The names of the new or additional jurors shall be drawn from the jurors identified under sections 607A.39 and 607A.40 by the electronic data processing system that was used to draw the original jury pool or panel.
