Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 15-1009

  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.

Any person, firm, corporation, society, association or church violating the provisions of Kan. Stat. Ann. § 15-1008 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars or more than one thousand dollars.
