Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 71-1412
- board of trustees: means the governing body of a community college. See Kansas Statutes 71-1402

- member: means a member of the board of trustees of a community college. See Kansas Statutes 71-1402
Each member of the board of trustees of a community college shall be elected for a four-year term commencing on the second Monday in January following election. Members shall serve until their successors are elected or appointed and qualified.
