Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 76-12a07
- Institution: means the following institutions: Osawatomie state hospital, Rainbow mental health facility, Larned state hospital, Parsons state hospital and training center, and Kansas neurological institute. See Kansas Statutes 76-12a01
- Secretary: means the secretary for aging and disability services. See Kansas Statutes 76-12a01
The secretary may adopt rules and regulations for the government, regulation and operation of institutions. The secretary may adopt rules and regulations relating to the assignment of all persons admitted to institutions, except that the secretary shall take no action to transfer or assign any person admitted to an institution for the purpose of circumventing the restrictions imposed by Kan. Stat. Ann. § 75-3373, and amendments thereto.
