The creation of a basic coverage compensation fund pursuant to KRS § 164.890 to KRS § 164.895 and the compliance with all other provisions of KRS § 164.890 to KRS § 164.895 shall qualify the university as a self-insurer under the terms of KRS § 304.40-330(4).
