1. Person. “Person” means person as defined in section 102 or any public agency, state or political subdivision or agency of the State, or any body politic.

Terms Used In Maine Revised Statutes Title 35-A Sec. 3703

  • cooperative: means any corporation organized under this chapter or which becomes subject to this chapter in the manner provided. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 35-A Sec. 3703
  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Person: means person as defined in section 102 or any public agency, state or political subdivision or agency of the State, or any body politic. See Maine Revised Statutes Title 35-A Sec. 3703
2. Rural electrification cooperative or cooperative. “Rural electrification cooperative” or “cooperative” means any corporation organized under this chapter or which becomes subject to this chapter in the manner provided.
