Terms Used In Michigan Laws 124.357a
- Authority: means a public transportation authority formed under this act. See Michigan Laws 124.351
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories belonging to the United States; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the district and territories. See Michigan Laws 8.3o
An authority is intended to and shall be deemed to be an authority the tax limitations of which are provided by charter or general law within the meaning of section 6 of article IX of the state constitution of 1963.
