As used in this act:
  (a) “Consumer protection act” means the Michigan consumer protection act, Act No. 331 of the Public Acts of 1976, being section 445.901 to 445.922 of the Michigan Compiled Laws.

Terms Used In Michigan Laws 445.52

  • Consumer protection act: means the Michigan consumer protection act, Act No. See Michigan Laws 445.52
  • Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
  • Trade or commerce: means trade or commerce as defined in section 2 of the consumer protection act. See Michigan Laws 445.52
  (b) “Person” means an individual, partnership, cooperation, association, trust, or other legal entity.
  (c) “Trade or commerce” means trade or commerce as defined in section 2 of the consumer protection act.
