Terms Used In Michigan Laws 700.2206
- Property: means anything that may be the subject of ownership, and includes both real and personal property or an interest in real or personal property. See Michigan Laws 700.1106
Sections 2201 to 2205 shall not be construed as creating an inchoate or choate right to the rights described in those sections in the property of a spouse before the death of a spouse.
