- State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020
Each public school of the state shall keep a daily register in which shall be entered the name, age, date of entrance and record of attendance of each pupil and the studies pursued by the pupil.
