  • Oath: A promise to tell the truth.
  • Trustee: A person or institution holding and administering property in trust.

The trustee, before entering upon the discharge of his duties, shall take and subscribe an oath before some judge or associate circuit judge that he will faithfully discharge the duties of his office; and shall, moreover, give bond, with sufficient security, to be approved of by the court, to the use of such disincorporated town or village, conditioned for the faithful discharge of the duties of his office.
