- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
Except in the buildings or facilities covered under N.H. Rev. Stat. § 14:14-b, no conservation, restoration, repair, or removal of any work of art purchased under the provisions of this subdivision shall be undertaken without the approval of the commissioner, who shall seek the advice of the New Hampshire state council on the arts on any such matter.
