  • Municipal legislative body: means the town board of a town, the board of trustees of a village; the board of aldermen, common council, council or commission of a city; and other elective governing board or body now or hereafter vested by state statute, charter or other law with jurisdiction to initiate and adopt local laws or ordinances.
