§ 4409. Special statements. (a) In addition to any other statements or reports required by this article, the superintendent may make any inquiry to the trustees of any employee welfare fund or to any of its other officers, agents or employees or to any employer or labor organization representing any employees eligible for employee benefits under the fund relating to the transactions or condition of the fund or any related matter.

  • Affirmed: In the practice of the appellate courts, the decree or order is declared valid and will stand as rendered in the lower court.

(b) Every such person shall reply in writing to such inquiry promptly and truthfully, and such reply shall be, if required by the superintendent, subscribed and affirmed as true under the penalties of perjury by such individual or individuals as he shall designate.
