Nothing in this Article shall be construed to apply to physicians and surgeons authorized to practice under the laws of North Carolina, except the provisions contained in N.C. Gen. Stat. § 90-125, or prohibit  persons to sell spectacles, eyeglasses, or lenses as merchandise from  permanently located and established places of business.
