Within thirty days after approval by the Ohio board of regents of a technical college district proposed pursuant to section 3357.02 of the Revised Code, such board shall file with the secretary of state a copy of its certification or resolution creating the district. Such copy shall be filed and recorded in the office of the secretary of state in the same manner as articles of incorporation are required to be filed and recorded under the general law concerning corporations.

  • state: means the state of Ohio. See Ohio Code 1.59
  • Technical college: means an institution of education beyond the high school, including an institution of higher education, organized for the principal purpose of providing for the residents of the technical college district, wherein such college is situated, any one or more of the instructional programs defined in this section as "technical college" or "adult-education technical programs" normally not exceeding two years' duration and not leading to a baccalaureate degree, except as provided in section 3333.
