(a)  Each city and town may contract with the William E. Davies, Jr. vocational-technical high school to establish and operate programs for special populations including students with disabilities and potential school dropouts.

  • Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
  • town: may be construed to include city; the words "town council" include city council; the words "town clerk" include city clerk; the words "ward clerk" include clerk of election district; the words "town treasurer" include city treasurer; and the words "town sergeant" include city sergeant. See Rhode Island General Laws 43-3-9

(b)  When these programs are operated by the William E. Davies, Jr. vocational-technical high school, each participating city or town shall be assessed for the cost of the program in the proportion that their enrollment bears to the total enrollment in the program. These assessments shall be deposited as general revenues.
