Terms Used In Rhode Island General Laws > Chapter 11-47.1 - Large Capacity Feeding Device Ban of 2022
- Federally licensed firearm dealer: means a person who holds a valid federal firearm dealers license issued pursuant to 18 U. See Rhode Island General Laws 11-47.1-2
- Large capacity feeding device: means a magazine, box, drum, tube, belt, feed strip, or other ammunition feeding device which is capable of holding, or can readily be extended to hold, more than ten (10) rounds of ammunition to be fed continuously and directly therefrom into a semi-automatic firearm. See Rhode Island General Laws 11-47.1-2
- person: may be construed to extend to and include co-partnerships and bodies corporate and politic. See Rhode Island General Laws 43-3-6
- town: may be construed to include city; the words "town council" include city council; the words "town clerk" include city clerk; the words "ward clerk" include clerk of election district; the words "town treasurer" include city treasurer; and the words "town sergeant" include city sergeant. See Rhode Island General Laws 43-3-9
- United States: include the several states and the territories of the United States. See Rhode Island General Laws 43-3-8
