The department may establish bank accounts other than the benefit payment account and deposit in them money requisitioned from the unemployment trust fund for the payment of benefits for or on behalf of the United States as provided in § 41-33-180. All provisions of this article governing the deposit, administration, mode of check signing, and safeguarding of the benefit payment account must apply to an account established by the department under this section.
