Terms Used In Tennessee Code 56-31-112
- Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the several territories of the United States. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
- Vision service: means the usual and general professional services rendered by persons duly licensed under the laws of this state to practice optometry. See Tennessee Code 56-31-102
The funds of the vision service corporations subject to this chapter shall be invested only in securities permitted by the laws of this state for the investment of assets of life insurance companies.
