- in writing: includes any representation of words, letters, or figures, whether by writing, printing, or other means. See Texas Government Code 312.011
The board is specifically authorized, upon terms and conditions acceptable to it, to accept, retain, and administer gifts, grants, or donations of any kind, including real estate or money, from any source, for use by the system, and to carry out the directions, limitations, and provisions declared in writing in the gifts, grants, or donations.
