(a) The county primary fund shall be used to pay expenses incurred by the county chair in connection with a primary election.
(b) The state primary fund shall be used to pay expenses incurred by the state chair in connection with a primary election.
Terms Used In Texas Election Code 173.033
- Primary election: means an election held by a political party under Chapter 172 to select its nominees for public office, and, unless the context indicates otherwise, the term includes a presidential primary election. See Texas Election Code 1.005
(c) A primary fund may not be used for any other purpose, except as provided by Section 173.032(c).
